Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Tuesday demanded that the Centre should form Telangana with 10 districts with Hyderabad as its capital.

Participating in a dharna at Rajghat here, Kodandaram said that the Congress-led UPA Government should not deviate itself from the resolution passed by the Congress Working Committee and Union Cabinet on bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the talk about Rayala Telangana was aimed at sabotaging the process of Telangana formation. He said that it was responsibility of Congress leaders from Telangana region to get Telangana State, in its original form.

Kodandram expressed confidence that the Telangana Bill would be tabled and passed during the winter session of the Parliament.
