Expel rebel Seemandhra MPs: Amos

Congress MLC KR Amos on Tuesday demanded that the Congress High Command expell the six MPs from Seemandhra region who served a notice for No Confidence Motion against the Manmohan Singh Government.

Speaking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Amos said that it was wrong on the part of the MPs to revolt against the party on whose ticket they got elected. He appealed to the party high command to take stern action against the MPs and expel them immediately.

Amos also slammed former minister JC Diwakar Reddy for his remarks against Congress president Sonia Gandhi. He said that Diwakar Reddy's touched Sonia's feet to become a minister in Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet. After being denied a berth, he attacked the Chief Minister and now he turned his guns towards the party president. He demanded that the party take stern action such rebels.
