Ravula expressed wonder over the Congress leaders from Seemandhra region opposing the Telangana Bill. He said that the Bill has been sent by the Centre through President of India and the UPA Government is being led by Congress party. Therefore, he said that the opposition of Congress leaders to Telangana formation was ridiculous. He also condemned the statement of minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar made against the Telangana Bill.

Referring to the remarks of N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Ravula said that the Chief Minister was thinking of bowling the last ball when the match is all over. He said that the Telangana Bill has been introduced and the bifurcation of State would be reality soon. He demanded that the Assembly complete its debate on the Bill by January 23 and opposed the extension of time period for discussion.
