Poll Panel refutes Babu charge

Hyderabad, Nov 23 (INN): Denying the charges of Telugu Desam supremo N Chandrababu Naidu that there were irregularities during the polling process at Jubilee Hills polling booths, State Election Commission on Monday clarified that there were no malpractices whatsoever as alleged.

Naidu made the allegation after casting his vote at the polling booth for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.The election commission after going into the charges said only `secret voting’ was allowed at the polling booth and no public voting was practised as reported by Naidu.
