BJP's Telangana manifesto in two days

BJP senior leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao on Tuesday informed that party's manifesto for Telangana would be released in the next two days.

Speaking to media persons here, Vidyasagar Rao said that the BJP has given priority to development of Telangana besides listing out the steps required for the overall development of the new State. He said that the BJP's manifesto would cover the needs of all sections of the society.

With regard to the possible alliance with the Telugu Desam Party, he said that some TDP leaders were in touch with BJP National Spokesperson Prakash Javedkar and there would be more clarity by Tuesday evening. He expressed confidence that the TDP would ally with the BJP to prevent division of votes and to strengthen itself in Telangana. He said the TDP lacks cadre and strengthen in many areas of Telangana and therefore, by allying with the BJP it could make-up for its lapses.
