VHR accuses Babu of misleading BCs

Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Saturday accused TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of misleading Backward Classes.

VHR alleged that Naidu has been trying to lure the BC voters by giving projection to leaders like R Krishnaiah. He said that only Congress party could ensure social justice in the country. He pointed out that the Congress party promoted leaders like Damodar Sanjeeviah in Andhra Pradesh, AR Antulay in Maharashtra, Syed Anwar Taimoor in Assam, Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan, S Bangarappa, Veerappa Moily, Dharam Singh and Siddaramaiah in Karanatana and dozens of BCs and other weakers sections in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and other States.

VHR asked Naidu to explain what he did for the empowerment of BCs during his nine-year regime as the Chief Minister. He said that the TDP is unable to tolerate Ponnala Lakshmaiah, a BC leaders as the President of Telangana Congress Committee. He said that the Congress party does not believe in caste politics and only ensures social justice.
