Jagga Reddy's nomination is an insult to T-people: TRS

Trs Politburo member Y Srinivas on Saturday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of insulting the people of entire Telangana by fielding T Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy as its candidate for Medak Lok Sabha by-elections.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, Srinivas said that Jagga Reddy has been a strong opponent of Telangana and he openly campaigned against the division of Andhra Pradesh. He said by fielding the supporter of "Samaikhyandhra", the BJP has insulted the Telangana sentiments. Stating that the people of Sangareddy have already rejected Jagga Reddy in the recently held Assembly elections, he alleged that the senior BJP leaders have taken bribe to give ticket to Jagga Reddy.

Srinivas also alleged that the Jagga Reddy was a "goonda" and by giving him party ticket, BJP is promoting "Goondism" in the country.
