Telangana Bjp President G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday alleged that more than 2,500 files are pending clearance in the Chief Minister's Office.

Speaking to media persons at the State Bjp office here, Kishan Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has given least priority to the files pending in his office for clearances. The files are related to different developmental works. He said KCR has not cleared a single file related to Chief Minister's Relief Fund. While former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy cleared 50-70% of the files, his successor K Rosaiah cleared nearly 30% CMRF files. However, N Kiran Kumar Reddy did not clear any files of CMRF. Following his footsteps, KCR too kept the CMRF files pending.

The Bjp leader alleged that power supply has been disconnected for as many as 42 Primary Health Centres in the city for non-payment of power bills. Similarly, the power bill of SC Girls Hostel in Amberpet has not been paid since several months. He said he has used his influence several times to restore power supply to the hostel.

Kishan Reddy also alleged that the State-owned SC, ST and Minorities Finance corporations were not in a position to provide the margin money to the youth who have been sanctioned loans. He said that the ministers of previous Congress regime have also issued sanction letters to several youth. But the banks have refused them loans as the corporations are unable to give margin money.

The Bjp MLA advised KCR to make his stand clear on waiver of farm loans, fee reimbursement, Arogyasri and other schemes. Instead of making people to wait for an endless period, the Chief Minister should clearly announce that he is not in a position to implement his promises. He said fake assurances by the Chief Minister were driving many farmers to suicide.

Kishan Reddy also criticised the Chief Minister for his silence on official celebration of Hyderabad Liberation Day. He said people of Telangana want the occasion to be celebrated at a grand scale as it is done in the areas of Karnataka and Maharashtra which were earlier parts of erstwhile Hyderabad State. He said it appears that not TRS, but MIM is ruling the State.
