Vijayashanti will not leave TRS: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, July 31 :-

  Harish Rao, a senior  leader  of Telangana Rashtra Samiti said on Friday that there is no truth in the reports  which appeared in media stating that Vijayashanti is leaving Trs. He came down heavily on Jayaprakash  the Congress MLA saying that he has got no  business to enter into the affairs of Trs. He expressed confidence that Vijayashanti will not join Congress because it is the  Congress which has ditched  the Trs  in the formation of a Telangana state.

Prior to joining  the Trs  Vijayshanti  worked  as the national general secretary of the BJP’s women wing, quit the party in 2005 to float a separate outfit to fight for separate statehood to Telangana region.

Vijayshanti, who had no major success in politics, had merged her Talli Telangana Party with the Trs in January, 2009 and was made party general secretary by Chandrasekhara Rao.
