Hyderabad, Dec 11: In the wake of the latest political turmoil in the state,coupled with the mass resignations of MLAs and MPs on the issue of separate Telangana,Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Friday appealed for peace and sought cooperation of all parties to tide over the crisis.Upset over the unexpected turn of events after the Centre’s decision to initiate the process for formation of separate Telangana,the CM said that this is the time when all parties should  come forward and work unitedly to restore peace in the strife torn Andhra Pradesh.

Referring to the situation in Coastal Andhra, the CM observed that the students and the locals are agitating over the bifurcation issue. The police entered Andhra university area in Vizag and are maintaining the law and order.The CM even appealed to the locals both in the coastal, region and Rayalseema regiuon to restrain from any violent actions. The public property should be protected at any cost.Referring to the  Centre’s decision on granting statehood to Telangana, he said that he had expressed his views and apprehensions to the Central leaders on the issue.The police forces are deployed in large numbers to maintain law ad order in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.
