Centre provides Rs 2,303 Cr to AP

In pursuance to Section 46 (2) of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act 2014, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to provide financial support of Rs 2,303 crore to Government of Andhra Pradesh to bridge the resource gap of the Financial Year 2014-15.

The Union Ministry of Finance had earlier released an amount of Rs 500 crore as an adhoc grant to bridge the resource gap. Now, an additional/balance amount of Rs 1,803 crore has been released for this purpose on 31st March.
