I am HM for the whole State: Sabita

Hyderabad, Dec 16: Asserting that she is the Home Minister for the entire Andhra Pradesh and not just of Telangana region, Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy strongly condemned the charge of a few Telugu Desam MLAs that she was regionally biased in discharging her duties.Addressing media persons at the Secretariat here on Wednesday, after attending a review meeting called by the Chief Minister, the Home Minister lashed out at the TDP leaders for alleging that she was exerting pressure on the police to act tough in dealing with agitating students in the universities of Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.She made it clear that she, in her capacity as Home Minister, was bound to protect the rights of the entire State.She criticised the TDP leaders of attempting to label her as a ‘Telangana Minister’.
