Arjun film crew attacked

Hyderabad, Dec 23: Close on the heels of attack on the film crew accompanying actor Manchu Manoj Kumar, some miscreants on Wednesday attacked the film team shooting a film with Allu Arjun in the lead at the Ramoji Film City.The activists attacked the film crew of Tollywood film `Varudu’ starring Allu Arjun at the Ramoji Film City and damaged the shooting equipment and materials.The miscreants managed to flee the scene before the police reached the spot on the basis of a complaint.

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party floor leader G Kishan Reddy denied that the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat has no connection with the attack on the film team of Allu Arjun.In another development, the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber on Wednesday convened an emergency meeting here in the wake of attacks on the film crew accompanying actor Manchu Manoj Kumar and Allu Arjun.The Film Chamber, condemned the attacks on actors, passed a resolution urging all film stars against passing comments on Telangana or united Andhra Pradesh.The Chamber emphasized that the film industry is above all regional barriers.
