Hyderabad, Dec 25: The controversial Mr Narayan Datt Tiwari popularly known as N D Tiwari, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, is locked in yet another row.A private news channel has begun flashing the scenes since Friday morning in which the 85-year-old Mr Tiwari is allegedly involved in some lurid acts with teenaged girls in Raj Bhavan itself, the seat of the official residence of the first citizen of the State. The news channel (ABN Andhra Jyothy) has been telecasting the clippings shot from a stealth camera repeatedly and has even elicited the opinions of a cross-section of people live from across the State.

The story says that Mr Tiwari’s personal assistant engaged some sex workers from different parts of the country to work in the Raj Bhavan in various capacities and has been indulging in various sexual acts during nights, including massaging. The alleged sting operation conducted in a place like Raj Bhavan has created a virtual stir in the State. No doubt, the issue has kicked up a storm of sorts not only in political circles but also in various sections of society demanding that Mr Tiwari be dismissed immediately, the personal counsel of the Governor, Mr Jandhyala Shankar, has obtained an order from the Andhra Pradesh High Court to stop the telecast of the clippings forthwith.

Apprehending trouble and suspecting widespread protests from woman groups following the telecast of the episode, security has been beefed up before the Raj Bhavan in the heart of Hyderabad city. What is intriguing is that the whole episode was telecast by the channel at a time when speculation is rife in the State that Mr Tiwari would be shifted from the Raj Bhavan soon. Now, in the light of the fresh developments the change in Raj Bhavan appears to be imminent and may be done faster. To be in the thick of controversy is not new to Mr Tiwari. Only a couple of months ago, a woman from Uttar Pradesh along with her son filed a paternal suit before the Delhi High Court claiming that Mr Tiwari is the father to her son.
