Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said the people from Seemandhra region who are settled in Hyderabad are not Pakistanis and as Indian, they have every right to live in Hyderabad.

Addressing TDP-BJP combine election meetings in Sayeedabad, Champapet, Ramanthapur and Karwan wards, the Union Minister alleged that the TRS leaders had tried to project settlers as outsiders and wanted them to leave the city. However, he said as Indians, people from other States and regions have every right to live in the city. He said that the TDP-BJP combine would not tolerate any injustice with the settlers and would fight for their rights.
