Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy on Friday claimed that the recent defections would not cause any major damage to the party in the State.
Speaking after administering oath to party candidates of Greater Warangal civic polls at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Revanth Reddy said the exit of leaders who lacked morals would not damage the TDP in Telangana State. He said those who had quit the party were like dead persons. Without naming Errabelli Dayakar Rao, he said leaders get an identity due to the party and not vice-versa.
Revanth Reddy said that the downfall of TRS in the State has begun and very soon the ruling party would lose the trust of common people. He said that the car of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would remain confined to the parking shed.
