Praja Telangana Party, an offshoot which developed from Praja Rajyam Party in Telangana has thrown open challenges to PRP Chief Chiranjeevi. Naragaoni, one of the resigned members of PRP from Telangana has come out all guns blazing on Chiranjeevi.
“Chiranjeevi and his Praja Rajyam cannot be considered as regional party now and its status as Regional Party should also be abolished. If Praja Rajyam is given the status to attend the meeting on January 5, then we requested Home Ministry Secretary Pillai to consider even Praja Telangana Party with strength of 2 MLA’s. It is shame on the part of Chiranjeevi that he is still insisting that Telangana people have a hidden feeling for ‘United Andhra’.
If that is true, why can’t Chiranjeevi or other Seemandhra leaders start their movement in Telangana with slogan of ‘United Andhra Pradesh?’ If Chiranjeevi starts this kind of movement in Telangana, this time it is not the flowers but he will get the treatment of chappals,” ridiculed Naragoni.
Answering a media question in New Delhi, Naragoni said that he has no intentions to meet Chiranjeevi when he arrives in New Delhi.
