Apcc Chief N Raghuveera Reddy said that YSR Congress has lost its sheen and its leaders were deserting the party as it lost its connect with the people and added that the party would be wound up soon.
Addressing the media here on Monday, Raghuveera said that YSR Congress got people’s attention only due to its name and people connected with it since YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Congress man, was a ruler. He accused YSRC chief of not playing a responsible Opposition leader saying that the party failed to raise issues concerning the state and its interests.
The Apcc Chief said that the Congress was playing an active role at the national level and was pressurizing the Centre to grant special category status to AP. He also found fault with the TD government accusing of adopting anti-people and anti-farmers policies and warned that TD government will face the ire of the people if it pursues such policies.
