Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao came down heavily on Congress and TD accusing them of indulging in false propaganda on irrigation projects.
Addressing a massive gathering after arriving at the Begumpet Airport, the Chief Minister said that the State Government was committed to provide irrigation to one crore acres of land in the state through its various projects. The TS and Maharastra government on Tuesday had signed historic pact on Godavari water sharing.
Referring to TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy allegation on the TRS government, Kcr dared him to bring the irrigation agreement documents of Tammidi-Hatti project where in the Congress leader claimed that the agreement was already made to built the project at the height of 152 ft. "I challenge Uttam Kumar Reddy to bring the agreement documents and prove his charges. I will wait for him for next 40 minutes and I would drive to Raj Bhavan to put in my papers and would give up politics if Congress proves the allegation,” Kcr thundered.
The Chief Minister said that the TRS would never compromise the interests of the state and warned the cases would be slapped against Congress leaders if they failed to prove their charges against the TRS government. He also said that he would take up bus yatra across the state to expose the opposition parties.
