Hyderabad, Jan 18: Social justice will be executed only if Telangana gets statehood, said Kodandaram convener of Joint Action Committee spearheading the Telangana movement. The relay fasts by the leaders of the JAC entered the third day at Indira Park here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion Kodandaram said, the leaders of Andhra and Rayalaseema are talking irrationally and arrogantly over the Telangana issue making it problematic for the Centre to quicken the proceedings on Telangana.
He demanded the Government to respond on the Tadicharla contract episode. The site should be handed over to the Singareni management, he emphasized.Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vidyasagar Rao said, thousands of acres of land belonging to the Dalits have been illegally encroached. So only when a separate statehood is granted to Telangana these problems will be solved , the BJP leader observed.
Meanwhile, MP Ponnam Prabhakar hoped that the Centre will come out with a favourable statement on Telangana by Jan 28. However, it is not good on the part of JAC or any other political party to set deadline for the Centre to come out with a statement on Telangana.
