Hyderabad,Jan 19: Consul General of Singapore in Chennai Ajit Singh on Tuesday met Chief Minister K Rosaiah to discuss the boosting up of trade between Singapore and Andhra Pradesh in the field of tourism, and Information Technology sector.``Bestowed with immense natural resources and skilled persons Andhra Pradesh can offer lot of opportunities for investors from Singapore, especially in sectors like tourism and Information Technology,’’ said the Chief Minister.
Recalling the close trade ties Singapore had during the days of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Ajit Singh said`` Hyderabad is on par with the other international cities in the world and the infrastructural facilities available here can match with the best in the world.’’``Singapore has special interest for investments in Andhra Pradesh and we are planning to flow in our business investors to Hyderabad so that they can come forward with their ventures,’’ Ajit Singh observed.
``Despite the droughts and floods, the agricultural production is on the rise in Andhra Pradesh and hoped that investors and industrialists will have a better time in the State,’’ the CM explained.The Consul General assured the CM that he will convey the message to the Singapore and hoped the bilateral trade would be on the right track.
