Speaker suspends 80 Oppn members

The Andhra Pradesh State Legislature Assembly Speaker, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Thursday suspended 80 Opposition party members from the Assembly for disrupting proceedings.When the Assembly met on Thursday, the Telugu Desam, Left and Telangana Rashtra Samiti party members disrupting the proceedings in the House by raising unnecessary questions and staging dharnas.

Then the MIM members urged the Speaker to suspend the members to pave way for smooth functioning of the house. The Finance Minister, Mr K Rosaiah, introduced a motion to suspend all the 80 members from the House. The House unanimously passed the motion. The Speaker suspended all the members from the Assembly for the day.
