Kadium warns Central leaders of consequences on T

Hyderabad, Jan 26: Senior Telugu Desam leader Kadium Srihari on Tuesday warned Central leaders of serious consequences if the they go back on their promise on Telangana state.Talking to media here, he said the people are observing the statements of political leaders keenly and if they go back on their stand on Telangana, the people would teach them a fitting lesson to people’s representatives in the next elections.

He said the people do not believe in the statements of political leaders as they are confusing and provoking some sections of people. The people are looking at them as thieves, he remarked.Expressing concern over the fate of politicians, he said nowadays they were distanced away from the party and people due to controversial stand taken by the parties.

He said that politicians should build confidence among people over the proposed Telangana state by making their stand clear on the issue.Many political parties including New Democracy party has also extended its support to the Telangana agitation. Why cannot the Maoists extend their support to the T agitation, he questioned.
