T-Cause: BJP car rally to Medaram shrine

Hyderabad, Jan 28: Bharatiya Janata Party state president Bhadaru Dattatreya plans to move super natural powers for the Telangana statehood.As a first step in this direction, Dattatreya intends to appease the tribal deities Sammakka-Saralakka at Medaram jatara in Warangal district on Thursday.A car rally he flagged off in the day comprises Bjp legislators including party’s floor leader in the state Assembly Kishan Reddy would organize road shows en route before reaching Medaram.

Talking to media after flagging off the rally at Bjp office here, Dattatreya said though Sammakka-Saralakka sacrificed their lives for the people, the Telangana people are sacrificing their lives demanding Telangana statehood.The party will offer massive blocks of jaggery to tribal deities seeking blessings for the early formation of Telangana state, he said.As the deadline for Centre’s announcement on Telangana ends on Thursday, he urged party leaders to mount pressure on Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy to accept the resignations of people’s representatives.
