Hyderabad, Aug 7 :-
The Opposition parties on Thursday demanded the Government to set up a Legislature Committee to look into the encroachments of lands under Bhoodan Trust.
Raising this issue in the assembly, the Opposition members alleged that lands worth crores of rupees under Bhoodan Trust were encroached in various parts of the state. The members alleged that the 75,000 acre land which was encroached in the state is worth Rs 5,000 crore..
Making a statement on this issue, Minister for Revenue Dharmanna Prasada Rao said that the Government would order a probe into the matter to get the complete details.
