New Democracy agitation

The activists led by Communist Party of India (ML-New Democracy) took out a protest rally here on Friday against Sri Krishna committee constituted by the Centre on separate Telangana issue. 

Hundreds of the party activists gathered at Rama Narsaiah Vignana Kendram and organized a rally to Mayuri Centre

through Cure hospital, Congress office and Bus stand centre. Later, they burnt the effigy of Sri Krishna committee at Mayuricentre. 

New Democracy district secretary, Potu Ranga Rao said the Union government had cheated the Telangana people once again. “In order to delay the Telangana issue, the

committee was constituted by the government. With out further delay, a bill for Telangana should be introduced in the Parliament,” he demanded.
