Sabita visits newsmen in hospital

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy on Monday visited the media persons who were undergoing treatment at the  Gandhi  Hospital after being  injured in the police cane-charge at the Osmania University on Sunday evening. 

The Home Minister  expressed concern over the incident and assured the media persons of stern action against the police who were responsible for the incident. She regretted the incident and said the government had ordered probe into the incident. 

Later, the Home Minister met the representatives of the Crime Reporters Forum and assured them of her support to the injured media persons. She wanted the journalists to cooperate with the government to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future.
