Komati wants Lagadapati punished

Information Technology Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy on Wednesday demanded that party leadership take appropriate action against Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajgopal for violating the High Command's stand on Telangana.

The Minister told newsmen that he would urge AICC president Sonia Gandhi to take stringent action against the MP for violating the orders of the High Command on the Telangana statehood. 

He urged Chief Minister K Rosaiah to prevent Lagadapati from attending the integrated Seemandhra convention to be held in Anantapur district.

Reddy said he would write to Sonia Gandhi to oversee the Srikrishna Commission appointed on Telangana to submit its report early.
