TRS men locked out of Assembly offices

Following the resignation of members belonging to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party (TrsLP), Assembly staff wasted no time in applying padlocks to their offices on Tuesday.

Revealing this on Wednesday, sources said the Assembly staff had locked the offices of the Trs MLAs and then put in one more lock to ensure that the ‘former’ legislators do not enter the offices allotted to them.

The incident led to protests from the Trs cadre, who complained that some important files were left behind in the office and the ‘former’ legislators could not access these.

The cadre complained that no one was informed before the decision to lock the offices was taken and maintained that the decision was unilateral on the part of Assembly staff.
