CM Pawan Creates New Record

The moment one takes the name of Pawan, Telugu movie lovers associate it with Power Star Pawan Kalyan who enjoys huge fan following among all sections of movie lovers. Pawan is all set to show his power in the upcoming general elections in 2019 with his political party Jana Sena and his supporters are fully confident that their favorite star will become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. 

In the meantime it is coming out that Chief Minister Pawan has broken former West Bengal's chief minister Jyothi Basu's record. For all those who wonder when Pawan became Chief Minister and what record he has broken, we are talking about Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar, but not Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan. 

Everyone knows that Jyothi Basu of CPI(M) became the Chief Minister of West Bengal for the first time on June 21 1977. From then on he continued as Chief Minister till Nov 6, 2000 getting reelected without hearing the word 'electoral defeat'. 

Now Pawan Kumar Chamling of SDF (Sikkim Democratic Front) who had taken charge as the Chief Minister of Sikkim on 12 Dec 1994 is still continuing as CM of the state. Thus he crossed Jyothi Basu's record as the longest standing Chief Minister for a state for 23 years 4 months and 17 days. Fans of Power Star Pawan Kalyan too hope that their hero will create such record in AP politics.
