After the House assembled for the day, the Speaker regretted his remarks against the Opposition and said, “If my comments had hurt any members, I will apologize.”

The Speaker lost his temper during a debate over the issue of water allocation to Brahmani Steels on Wednesday. While concealing his anger, he shouted at them stating: “What is this nonsense? You have no business to come here. Go back. You have failed as a responsible Opposition” and adjourned the House for the day.

Reddy explained that he uttered the harsh comments to run the House in a peaceful and healthy way. Later, he continued with the House business and disallowed the adjournment motion introduced by the Opposition on Thursday.
