BJP demands action against perpetrators of violence

Demanding stringent action against the perpetrators of violence at Goshamahal division in the Old City of  Hyderabad, the Bharatiya Janata Party activists on Wednesday staged a dharna in front of Dr Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund.

Talking to reporters, the Bjp leaders demanded the arrest of all perpetrators of violence, where 36 people were injured in a clash that broke out between two communities. Several vehicles were either set ablaze or damaged by the rioters.

Following the clash between communities, the police clamped prohibitory orders in four police stations of Goshamahal division in the city.

However, the police arrested the Bjp activists stating that they did not take the prior permission for staging dharna.
