Sania Mirza got a breather on Monday when a court in Muzaffarnagar postponed the hearing in a case against her for alleged disrespect to the National Anthem to April 28.
Hearing in the case under 'Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act' was originally scheduled for Monday, but the Bar Council elections forced Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Vinod Kumar to announce postponement.
The case was registered against the ace tennis player in November 2008. Three other cases which were filed against Mirza were slated to be heard on April 21, April 22 and May 18 respectively.
Sania was allegedly not standing in attention when the National Anthem was being played during an international-level Tennis competition where she was the chief guest.
