Asserting that he never married Hyderabad based Ayesha,  ace Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik on Monday said he would not apologise to the Siddiquis.

Speaking to the media at Sania’s residence, Shoaib said ``I came to India to get married and I will not leave the country without getting my name cleared of charges.’’

On being asked why the police had seized his passport, the Pakistani observed, `` the police  required it and I have no objection to surrender it to them. I need to cooperate with them in resolving the issue. I  will report to the police whenever they want me to answer their  queries.’’

Charging Ayesha, who claims to be his wife, Shoaib remarked that the girl should come out rather than giving telephone interviews to news channels. She should prove it in the court. She is adopting these tactics to gain cheap publicity.

Sania Mirza, who was also by  the side of Shoaib during the press  conference said ``the marriage, scheduled to be held on April 15, has not been postponed.  We are shocked by the Siddiquis  behaviour.’’
