Kodela Siva Prasad Rao Mysterious Death

Senior Telugu Desam Party Leader and Former Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao passed away today at Basavatarakam Hospital in Hyderabad. He was kept on ventilator. Unfortunately, doctors couldn’t save him.

Although relatives confirmed the news of Kodela’s demise, doctors are yet to confirm the news officially.

Earlier, there were reports that, Kodela committed suicide by hanging himself at his home and his family members rescued and then shifted him to Basavatarakam Hospital.

As per the reports, Kodela was humiliated after the YSRCP foisted cases against his family members which drove him to commit suicide. Though his family members were granted bail, he is learned to have been depressed over it.

Kodela ventured into politics in 1983 when NT Rama Rao founded Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
