Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday blamed the Centre and State Government's policies as responsible for sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities.
Talking to reporters after convening a meeting with Left party leaders at NTR Trust Bhavan, the TDP leader said both the governments have neglected the people’s welfare and they are bothered about how to generate resources.
Demanding a cut down on the prices of essential commodities in the market, the TDP along with left parties will take out rallies across the country on April 27, he said.
He called upon all parties to take part in the hartals to make the programme a grand success.As part of hartals, the TDP will take up cycle yatra on April 24 to create awareness on rising prices and policies followed by the state and Centre.
CPI State secretary B V Raghavulu, CPI secretary Narayana, forword bloc leader Muralidhar Despande and RST leader Janakiram took part in the meeting.
