Naidu condemns police lathicharge on students

Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday condemned the police lathicharge on students, who were agitating at the residences of Ministers on Banjara hills demanding release of scholarships and fee reimbursement.

Criticizing the police action against students, Naidu demanded the release of students' scholarships immediately.He termed the police action on students, who were agitating peacefully, as heinous and unwarranted.

He appealed to the government to resolve the genuine demands of students and sough the withdrawal of all cases foisted by police immediately. He urged the government to provide medical facility for those students who were injured in the lathicharge.

He demanded that the government initiate disciplinary action against the police who were responsible for the lathicharge.

He also urged the government to fill all teachers posts announced in DSC-2008.Telugu Yuvatha state president B Ravichandra yadav also condemned police lathicharge on students.
