Solve farmers' problems: Naidu

The farmers are in dire straits due to inefficiency of Chief Minister K Rosaiah, alleged Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu.

Talking to reporters after attending a meeting on organisational pollsat NTR Trust Bhavan on Tuesday, he alleged that the farmers in the state were hit hard due to the irresponsible and negligent attitude ofthe chief minister.

Naidu appealed to Chief Minister to behave in a responsible manner and try to solve the farmers problems.When he was raising farmers problems, the chief minister alleged Naiduis playing political games at the behest of farmers issues.

"The chief minister is treating it as crime when he is trying tohighlight the farmers problems," he said.Naidu said he urged Centre to implement M S Swaminathan recommendations for uplifting farmers lives. He said the Centre has favourably responded to the party's request.
