TTD takes celestial wedding to tribal areas

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (Ttd) will conduct Govinda Kalyanotsavam (wedding) in the agency areas in the district from May 27 to June 6.

 According to Govinda Kalyanam project officer Vijayaraghavacharyulu, the Ttd would organise the celestial wedding in the hills of the district as the Ttd programmes held in East Godavari district  received positive response in April.

 The Govinda Kalyanam will be organized on the lines of Srivari Kalyanam as it is conducted in the US. The Ttd intends to host the celestial wedding of icons for the benefit of the tribals in the agency itself.

 The Ttd seeks sponsors for Annadanam to make the programme  more orderly, organized and effective, the official added.
