Power Centre in TDP: Nandamuri Vs Nara

Power Politics in Telugu Desham Party will revolve only around two families, they are Nandamuri and Nara families. In yester generation it was legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao who established the party and brought it to power in no time throwing a strong message to entire World that Telugus are not Madarasis but have their own identity.

When it comes to this generation, Nara Chandrababu Naidu took the reigns of party (not to discuss , how he got it) into his hands and it was monopoly politics from then on. As the day for celebration of ‘Mahanadu’ has arrived, Chandrababu Naidu has raised the new debate by speaking about the entry of Nara Lokesh into politics and that to as his successor.

‘I will not pressure Lokesh to enter politics. It is his self decision. Need for the moment is that I want to see him settle down strongly both financial wise and family wise. Later on it will be his option,’ opened Naidu.

If Balakrishna from last few days is expressing his confidence of steering the party, now Nara Lokesh coming into the scene will only minimize the chances of either Junior NTR or any other Nandamuri family member getting back as supreme power in TDP. Political analysts believe that, this is a deliberate stunt of Naidu to keep a check on Nandamuri dreams. Sources even doubt that Naidu is getting ready to offer Rajya Sabha seat to Balayya in order not to allow any more power centres to groom with in the aprty.
