Aerospace power revolutionised warfare: Pallam Raju

Union Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju on Saturday said aerospace power has revolutionised all other forms of warfare with ever accelerating advances in technology.

Addressing the officers, who completed the Graduation course at a Combined Graduation Parade of Air Force Academy here, he said the present decade was likely to see more dramatic changes in weapon technology, including the nature of warfare.

''You will be a part of these changes. It will, therefore, be essential for you to acquire a full understanding and knowledge of application of new technologies so that you may be able to exploit the true potential of Aerospace Power,'' the Minister said.

The Minister awarded the President's Commission to the Flight cadets on behalf of the President of India.Altogether, 172 Flight cadets, including 38 women flight cadets, passed out of the Air Force Academy and have joined the active duty in the esteemed rank and file of the Indian Air Force, a defence press note said.
