Minister for Cooperation Ramreddy Venkata Reddy on Monday appealed to the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Telangana students to desist from obstructing the visit of Chief Minister K Rosaiah to Nizamabad district scheduled for June 25.

Talking to reporters, the Minister said the JAC should not resort to such meaningless tricks. “It is not proper for the JAC to block the visit of the Chief Minister to Nizamabad,” he said.

He made it clear nobody can block the visit of Chief Minister to the Telangana and he would never postpone his visit at any cost. “It is nothing but creating hurdles for development of Telangana by blocking the Chief Minister’s tour,” he pointed out.

He rubbished the statements of Telangana leaders that the Chief Minister’s visit would dilute the sentiment of Telangana in the region.

He said the government wants development of the state by setting up of industries across the backward areas and there is no wrong in it.
