Congress MLAs Srikanth Reddy and Ramachandra Reddy on Tuesday stated that Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has not done committed any major mistake which deserves to be served a show-cause notice.
Talking to reporters at Assembly media point, the MLAs stated that Jagan, who is going ahead with his Odarpu yatra in East Godavari district, has not comitted any major mistake so as to be served a show-cause notice by the Congress High Command.
They said the Odarpu yatra taken up by the MP would strengthen the Congress party's base in rural areas. The leaders alleged that some vested elements were campaigning against Jagan to finish his political career.
The MLAs also made it clear that they would continue to extend their support to the MP for strengthening the party through the yatra.
Why did not the Housing Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, who claims to be a strong loyalist of YSR, did not extend financial support to the families, who died after the sudden demise of former chief minister YSR, they questioned.
So far the high command has not yet decided whether to serve a show-cause notice on Jagan or not.
Incidentally Ambati Rambabu, a loyalist of Jagan, has already been served show-cause notice for passing unsavoury remarks aganst Chief Minister K Rosaiah.
