Decision on Naidu in 24 hours

There was a furore in Maharashtra Assembly on Tuesday over  Telugu Desam leader Chandrababu Naidu’s  arrest and the treatment meted out to party legislators in Maharashtra.

Afraid of the strained relations  between Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, the Opposition MLAs  pressed for a discussion over the arrest of TDP leaders. State Home Minister RR Patil briefed the House on the arrest of the TDP MLAs and  factors leading to their remand.

The Government will take a decision on sending back Chandrababu and his men back to Andhra Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
