UV Creations Ditches Gopichand

UV Creations ditches Gopichand.  Macho Star Gopichand of late is reeling under string of flops and his film Viswam directed by Srinu Vaitla turned out to be a disaster. Gopichand failed to score a blockbuster after Loukyam in 2014. His films Gautam Nanda, Seeti Marr, Bheema turned out to be average grossers. None of his other films impressed viewers.

But many producers showed in doing films with him due to the mass image he enjoys among people. Gopichand is currently doing a film with Radhakrishna who did Jil and Radhe Shyam earlier. Gopichand pinned all his hopes on this project and even Gopichand's friend Prabhas' friends decided to bankroll the project on UV Creations.

UV Creations Recent Struggles

But UV Creations recently got a huge shock with Suriya's Kanguva and in the meantime, it invested a huge budget on Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara. The film is slated for a grand release in May 2025. Reports have it that UV Creations are planning not to do anhyother film till the release of this film.

Impact on Gopichand Project, Focus on Varun Tej

That is the reason why they even set aside Akkineni Prince Akhil's high budget project. Reports are coming that UV Creations decided to opt out of Gopichand's project. Currently it is doing the project with Varun Tej as hero under Merlapaka Gandhi's direction. It is collaborating with First Frame Entertainments banner.

Earlier UV Creations bankrolled Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas under Radha Krishna Kumar's direction. However with the film turning out to be a disaster, UV Creations decided to opt out of Gopichand's project with Radhakrishna.
