Gopichand-Puri Jagannadh joining hands

Puri Jagannadh is hailed as the dashing director for his daring portrayals in his films and powerful mass action storylines. However, his career graph hit a downside when his films Liger, Double iSmart tumbled at the box office.

This had an instant adverse affect. Rowdy Star Vijay Devarakonda called off the much talked about project Jana Gana Mana with Puri Jagannadh though it was launched with much fanfare in Mumbai following the impact of Liger. Though Double iSmart got disaster talk, it did good business but that revenue was used to compensate the distributors the losses they incurred with Liger.

Niranjan Reddy who dreamed of doing a film with Puri Jagannadh,acquired the Double iSmart rights wholesale and he suffered huge losses. So Puri Jagannath decided to help Niranjan Reddy with his next project. However none of the stars are showing interest.

Puri Jagannadh narrated a line to Mass Raja Ravi Teja but he did not show much interest. The story is a political action thriller. As Ravi Teja himself is reeling under flops he is thinking twice. Niranjan Reddy has the dates of young hero Teja Sajja. But he is busy and Puri is not having the story suited for Teja Sajja.Now Puri Jagannath is planning to do the film with Gopichand and Gopichand is also game for it. It has to be seen what Puri Jagannath and Gopichand offer to movie lovers.
