Taapsee gets going for Gandhari

Taapsee is known for her powerful female oriented roles and breathtaking performances. Taapsee according to the latest started her next titled Gandhari. With Gandhari, Taapsee is reuniting with writer-producer Kanika Dhillon.

The duo earlier entertained viewers with films like "Haseen Dillruba" (2021) and its follow-up "Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba", and apart from it, Kanika Dhillon also penned scripts for Tapsee's films "Manmarziyaan" (2018) and "Rashmi Rocket" (2021).

While Kanika Dhillion penned the script, the film will be directed by Devashish Makhija who came up with films like Manjo Bajpayee's "Ajji" as well as "Bhonsle" and "Joram".

Taapsee sharing the update posted "Dear God, grant my request so that I may never deviate from doing good deeds. That, I shall have no fear of the enemy when I go into battle, and with determination, I will be victorious. That, I may teach my mind to only sing your praises. And when the time comes, I should die fighting heroically on the field of battle,"

Gandhari is touted to be an action thriller which explore the "profound bond between mother and child".
