Can Varun Tej strike gold with Korean Kanakaraju. Mega Prince Varun Tej created a niche for himself doing different genre entertainers. However of late he got huge shocks in form of Ghani, Operation Valentine and Matka. He is planning to tread carefully and select scripts in such a way that he will regain his lost stardom at the box office.

In the meantime, it is coming out that Varun Tej is gearing up to go for the kill with Korean Kanakaraju. Varun Tej is teaming with Merlapaka Gandhi and the film according to sources will be titled Korean Kanakaraju. Reports are coming that the film is a horror thriller and it has the backdrop of Korea.

The visa process for the actors have been completed and sources share that the makers will be shooting key scenes. Innside talk is the film will feature Ritika Nayak of Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam fame as the female lead. The music for the film is tuned by Thaman.

Apart from this film, Varun Tej will be starring in the direction of Vikram Sirikonda of Touch Chesi Choodu and the film will have a US backdrop.
