Mrunal helps Dacoit with lucky deal

Adivi Sesh is known for his different genre entertainers and his realistic and natural taking on suspense thrillers is creating a niche for himself. He endeared himself to all with films like Goodachari and Hit-The Second Case. Now all eyes are on his upcoming projects G2 and Dacoit.

His upcoming film Dacoit is generating immense interest among movie lovers. Recently the makers released the pic of Mrunal Thakur confirming as the female lead. It is known that earlier reports came that Shruti Haasan was roped in as the female lead but she walked out of the project.

The makers maintained a stoic silence before finally confirming Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. This comes as a surprise as Shruti Haasan was not having any projects on hand to cite busy schedule as the reason. Some say her irregularity in the sets was one of the reason behind the female lead change.

Sources say with the decision, the makers saved lot of amount. Shruti demanded whopping Rs 3-3.5crs and she was paid Rs 50lakhs in advance. With her replaced, Mrunal is getting Rs 1-1.5crs. Thus the makers saved over Rs 2crs of budget in such manner.
