Ram Charan RC17 to kickstart at this time

Ram Charan is currently busy with his upcoming project Peddi. The film directed by Buchhi Babu Sana is progressing at a brisk pace. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead while Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu Sharma plays key roles. Rahman is the music director for the film which is releasing on 27 March 2026.

In the meantime, excitement is increased over Ram Charan's next with Sukumar. The project is referred to RC17. Expectations are high as Ram Charan and Sukumar earlier came up with the blockbuster Rangasthalam.

Now inside talk is the film will start right after Ram Charan's wraps Peddi. A source shares “Sukumar has already begun working on the script and is aggressively shaping the narrative. The film is currently in the pre-production stage, with his core team kick-starting the groundwork well in advance to ensure a smooth and expansive shoot.”

The film will go to floors from July 2026 and it will go on for one year. Rumours have it that Rukmini Vasanth, Sandalwood sensation will be the female lead in the project. Sukumar is planning to show Ram Charan in a stylish avatar.
